Material Recycling Facility

Feed hopper & Apron feeder:

12m steel apron feeder, 1200mm wide to suit Trommel. Fitted with heavy duty receiving hopper and raised sides to prevent material being blown off.

Trommel screen:

Heavy duty 6m x 2m Trommel with 40mm punched plate barrel. Fully covered for outdoor application and mounted on heavy steel structure. Barrel is removable for quick change on material screening size. Fitted with heavy duty discharge conveyor to transfer material to picking station and allow material to be processed by wind knife.

Wind Knife:

The blower unit is mounted at end of Trommel discharge conveyor and start of picking station. This has an air knife that blows through the material and removes any lighter materials. This is adjustable to suit different materials.

Picking station:

4 Bay: 16m long with a picking belt 1200mm x 22m long. Variable speed control and emergency stops. Four fixed drop chutes 1200 x 500mm exiting bottom of station. Mounted high on sub frame to suit loading shovel. Ladders and walkway at one end. Frame to hold Overband magnet.

Overband magnet:

The most powerful magnet available to suit material no bigger than 250mm. We could also recommend a magnetic head drum which would ensure all ferrous material is removed. Non ferrous will have to be hand picked at this time.

Hydraulic/Electric Control container:

On site container to house the electric motors, hydraulic pumps, oil tanks and filter system. Control panel is also fitted here to prevent damage. System can run independent or as a sequential start.

Equipment fitted with speed control and emergency stops as per HSE regulations.

Guards provided to all drives as required by current Safety Regulations.

Access walkways with safety handrails and ladders.

Primed and painted in a colour of your choice.
